What we work on
Every position on the unit
Semis and trailers, water and vacuum trailers, oilfield equipment, farm trucks and RVs. If it runs on truck tires, it comes into the bay here.
Steers
The position you feel first and the one that has to be right. Wear pattern, pressure and how the truck tracks all get looked at, not just the tire that went flat.
Drives
Duals matched properly so one tire is not carrying the pair. Mismatched duals scrub, run hot and take the other one with them.
Trailers
Trailer tires live a harder life on lease roads than they do on the interstate, and they get checked with the running gear rather than on their own.
The wheel end behind the tire
A tire that keeps going down is usually telling you about something else. While the wheel is off, the hub, the seal and the bearing get looked at — that is the part that strands you a second time.
- Hub, seal and wheel bearing service
- Bearing adjustment and repack
- Wheel seals and leaking hubs
- Studs, nuts and hardware
- Drums, brake and wheel-end inspection while it is apart
- Airbag and suspension faults found alongside a tire failure
Where the work happens
Tire and wheel-end work is done in the bay, at whichever of the three shops is closest to you. Call first and we will tell you what the job needs and when we can take it.
